Poster Ideas.

This is my first draft of my magazine cover. I decided to put the image of my main character half way out of the page so i had a lot of blank black page to play around with. Also it didn't show the reader much about what was going to happen in the film leaving them on a 'cliff hanger' so they are more interested in going to see the film. I thought the text work well if i worked it around my model hood so it all linked together. I decided to uses empire magazine as it fit the genre of my film, they promote new films well. 

After looking into more example magazines by empire i decided to remove the date that the film was being released because you don't normally see that on a magazine cover it is move on the movie poster where they advertise when the film will be shown in the cinema. I also then decided to change where the writing was going to be as there was too much blank black space on the magazine even though thats what i wanted the writing needed to be moved so the audiences full attention was on reading the writing on the magazine cover. I decided to put the writing slightly off the page to tie in with the image being half way off the page also, this was done purposely to keep most things secret about the film. I also changed what the writing actually said because i decided that the magazine would be about my main characters life now after playing the part in the film. I got this inspiration from empire magazine its self because it seemed to be that most of the magazines was about what the actor/ actress lives had been changed.

This is my final magazine cover. As an overall i think it works well as it doesn't really let much of the film go so it is still kept as a secret. I wanted to do this because it would leave the audience hanging and make them want to go and see my film.

Time management

During the making of my print work, magazine and poster, I have no had time to scan my story boards onto my blog. Now that I have finished my print work I will now focus on storying boarding my trailer to exact then getting it filmed and edited. 

I will also add more detail to my research improving influence.

I now agree that I can spend more time editing and improving my blog.
