For my coursework in A2 media I have decided to focus on:
A promotion packag for a new film.
Including a teaser trailer
A poster for the film
A film magazine front cover, featuring the film
The type of film I will be focusing on is a horror/thriller as I enjoy these films the best. Something like Paranormal activity, Blair witch project and The Amityville Horror where something scary or unusual happens.
I want my audience to experience a gain of interest from the teaser trailer making them want to know more, but also feeling scared and shocked after watching the trailer. I dont want the poster or magazine to give to much away, I will do this by making it simple and including something out the film for the main image on the poster/magazine. This way my audience will be interested when seeing it and leave them wanting more.
